We saved our Annual and Long Service Leave and applied for an 8 month escape from both our workplaces in Melbourne. Our past vacations have usually included a tent or a camper trailer but I unashamedly nudged (perhaps grovelled) for a self contained caravan. The kids moved out and the dog died. While relaxing in our now peaceful, spotless and tidy home we realised that no one depended on us on a daily basis.
