On our way to Streaky Bay we stopped overnight at Kiana Park. A peaceful family owned & operated farm. We also spent some time walking around unusual rock formations called Murphy’s Haystacks.

No crowds here👍

We stayed at the Streaky Bay Foreshore Caravan Park for 4 nights. The waters edge was only meters from our van and I enjoyed just sitting in the calm waters here, watching the pelicans drift by and chatting to other travellers also cooling off in the bay.

A couple of coastal scenic drives were recommended to us so we took the opportunity to get out of the heat and into an air conditioned car. Spectacular views of the Southern Ocean came into view upon every bend in the road. We stopped along the way to see the Whistling Rocks (which actually whistled) and to explore Smooth Pool, a large rock pool area.

When it’s cold or windy we try to find other forms of entertainment like playing cards (or drinking beer🍻/ wine🥂). Although, perhaps I should NOT have packed the jumbo size card deck?

Looks fantastic and your photos are amazing. So glad you are having a great adventure and thank you for sharing. I’m enjoying travelling with you via your blog. Very jealous. Love Jo 😎
